It has been my honor to personally oversee that Lupe's Original Recipe is kept true. That means never settling for less than the right ingredients or converting to "manufacturing" methods that might make us more money, but at the sacrifice of authenticity.
Lupe's is not TexMex. That is an entirely different kind of cookery. What we do at Lupe's is keep the tradition pure. Come taste for yourself. In our restaurant or in your own home...nothing tastes like a tamale from Lupe's.
